Intersection with Technologies

Compared to the focus on understanding the needs of M&V populations in Area 1, the focus in this area, is centered around technologies used by these populations and the security and privacy risks they entail, from technology platforms (e.g., mobile devices, VR headsets, sensors) to secure content of ownership created on these devices, to assuring secure environmental frameworks (e.g., within virtual reality and smart cities.) Developing solutions in this space will inform the design principles that we will systematize in Area 3.
